Clean and bright, light yellow colour. It is a complex and layered wine, dominated by minerality, white flowers, pears and flint. It combines the structure of the red clay very well with the minerality of the soil. It is long, tense and refreshing and very long on the palate, with an attractive salinity on the finish.

Deep, dark red with violet undertones. Very elegant, complex, with notes of blackberry and a touch of blackcurrant. Full on the palate, with mature underlying tannins, concentrated and profound, with a long aftertaste that is distinctive of the Peumo soil.

Lively, deep ruby red. The nose is layered, intense and complex, with aromas of wild strawberries, cassis and dewberries, associated with liquorice, spices and coffee notes. In the mouth, the wine displays an ample and juicy attack, a luscious texture, leaving an impression of freshness, roundness and balance.

Penfolds Max’s Shiraz Cabernet is a tribute to former Chief Winemaker Max Schubert 1948- 1975, a legend in Penfolds history. Max’s constant pursuit of excellence paved the way for those who followed in his footsteps and also allowed the status and heritage of Penfolds to grow. A more approachable Penfolds style at release - ideally shelf to glass, save the cellar.

Cara Mia Sweet White is a sweet, creamy, luxurious wine. Delicate aromas of white peaches on the nose lead to creamy peach and juicy flavours on the palate. Refreshing acidity and a vivid, crisp finish balance the ideal sweet flavours.

Bright golden yellow, a fine and delicate perlage. Notes of exotic fruits and orange zest, peach and apricot. Sweet with subtle aromatic aromas of citrus fruit; the aromatic aftertaste recalls the flavour of the Moscato grape, with pleasant freshness.

The mouthfeel is succulent with abundant freshness/energy. Cherries are consistent from the nose to the palate, as is liquorice, however in this instance, the impression is more akin to Dutch liquorice. Saffron, coffee bean, sarsaparilla and cola creaminess add to the textural interest, almost certainly oak-derived elements that soften and encapsulate the tannins.

Fresh flavours of stone fruit, citrus and grapefruit pith. Creamy, crème brulee-like French oak lingers with a lovely flinty, wet stone/chalky acid line, closing out with an intriguing waxy phenolic finish.

Taut in texture, fine tannin with a savoury profile. Cranberry represents the red fruit spectrum, with lingering flavours of yellow plum, bay leaf and sage. Root vegetable earthiness is evident on the finish. Structurally framed by beautifully integrated French and American oak, present but rarely mentioned.

Koonunga Hill Chardonnay reflects Penfolds multi-region, multi-vineyard blending philosophy, which enables the winemaking team to source the best parcels of fruit to produce consistently high-quality wines from each vintage. A light to medium-bodied Chardonnay with distinctive primary fruit characters and a subtle underlay of moderate oak.

Launched with the 1990 vintage in 1993, and inspired by Bin 707, Bin 407 was developed in response to the increasing availability of high-quality Cabernet Sauvignon fruit. The wine has achieved great success as a classic Penfolds wine. It offers varietal definition and approachability, yet still with structure and depth of flavour.

Bright straw yellow brightened by perlage. Fruity scent, reminiscent of wild apple and acacia and wisteria flowers. Lively flavour with a delicate note of bread crust; lightly semi-sweet.

Bold, bright wine with dense aromas of rhubarb, cherries, and herbs. On the palate, dried cranberry and cherry are balanced with notes of black spice and vanilla.

Full of wild blueberries, black and red cherries, subtle cardamom spice, and a hint of white pepper. It's an immediately appealing wine that is balanced, uplifting, and a full-bodied with a soft, long finish.

This wine is youthful and fresh with aromas of blackberry, blackcurrants, and a hint of olive tapenade. The palate is filled with more dark stone notes, subtle clove, and dried herbs with soft but structured tannins.
